Teenagers face court over breaching SA COVID-19 directions in an Adelaide medi-hotel

Two Victorian teenagers have faced court in Adelaide charged with breaching South Australia's COVID-19 directions.

Chol Manjok and Semain Akue Bol, both aged 19, arrived on a flight from Melbourne yesterday as prohibited travellers.

They were taken to the Pullman medi-hotel in Adelaide to quarantine but it has been alleged they did not comply with directions, including failing to remain in their rooms and not wearing a mask.

They were arrested and this afternoon the pair faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court via video link from custody, charged with failing to comply with Emergency Management Act directions.
