A severe weather warning for damaging winds is in place across much of South Australia.
The weather bureau says a cold front moving across from Western Australia will strengthen during Sunday afternoon as it reaches SA's west.
Damaging wind gusts in excess of 90 kph have been forecast for the west coast and southern parts of the north-west pastoral district, with showers and possible thunderstorms.
The Bureau of Meteorology's Simon Timcke said the "vigorous cold front" will continue to track east, reaching Adelaide in the evening and into the morning.
