South Australia is facing one of its hottest days in half a decade, with winds bringing extreme fire danger warnings to multiple states.
Adelaide could have its warmest day since December, 2019, with Weatherzone forecasters predicting that the temperature could hit 44 degrees today.
The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a top of 43 for Adelaide and says there will be "very hot" temperatures across the rest of the state before a cool change later today.
