Chinese student with coronavirus fell ill almost a week before seeking treatment

A Chinese student who has been confirmed to have contracted the novel coronavirus was ill for almost a week before he presented to hospital. The 20-year-old University of Queensland student had travelled to Dubai for at least 14 days before entering Australia via Brisbane on February 23, in order to bypass Australia's China travel ban. He became unwell on Tuesday last week but didn't present to hospital until Sunday.
