A correctional officer who helped restrain an Aboriginal prisoner who died three days later has told a coronial inquest he has "no memory" of what happened but woke up "lying across him".
Wayne Fella Morrison died in hospital after being restrained by several guards at the Yatala Labour Prison in Adelaide's north in September, 2016.
South Australia's coroners court had previously heard the 29-year-old was placed into a spit mask and put into a police escort van face down after attacking guards.
He was pulled out of the vehicle unresponsive and had suffered a heart attack and multi-organ failure.
